GRSP Road Safety Leadership Course – introduces SR4S
iRAP’s Rafaela Machado and Julio Urzua ran SR4S training as part of the GRSP Road Safety Leadership Course in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The SR4S representatives introduced the Star Rating for Schools assessment tool to 65 road safety professionals during the one-day training.
Recent SR4S assessment training in Philippines
January 2019: iRAP’s Managing Director – Strategic Projects Greg Smith recently facilitated Star Rating for Schools training in the Philippines. Delegates from Automobile Association Philippines attended a training course which included an overview of iRAP and provided an introduction to SR4S assessments using the app.
Safer schools in Botswana: Amend project in Botswana makes journeys safer for kids.
In December 2018, Amend undertook investigations and upgrades at the Bophirima Primary School to improve the safety for students. Amend is working in more than a dozen countries in the developing world to improve safety near schools, including upgrading of the infrastructure safety.
