Are you ready to make a difference with and for young people? Fondation Botnar is launching the second phase of its Fit4Future Programme, seeking bold, innovative projects that leverage digital technologies and AI to:
- Create inclusive cities by engaging young people in shaping sustainable, liveable urban spaces. Projects should involve diverse youth voices in designing their environments and connecting with local and global decision-makers.
- Advance inclusive education by addressing barriers to learning, particularly for marginalised groups, youth with disabilities, and those out of school.
This call is open to initiatives from Romania, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Indonesia, Vietnam, Colombia, and Ecuador. Projects that demonstrate strong local ownership and community involvement will be prioritized.
Free Tools to Enhance Your Project Proposal:
iRAP have free tools and methodologies like Big Data Screening, Youth Engagement App (YEA) and Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) that can help with your proposal:
- Big Data Screening: Methodology to leverage the potential of commonly available databases of attributes used in pedestrians’ macro-level analysis and utilizes them to rank schools from higher to lower road safety risks for pedestrians.
- Youth Engagement App (YEA): Intuitive digital risk-perception tool that allows students to map locations where they feel “safe” or “unsafe” or “very unsafe” on their journey to school.
- SR4S: An evidence-based tool for measuring, managing and communicating the risks children are exposed to on a journey to school.
For more information about how these tools integrate into projects like AI&Me: Empowering Youth for Safe Roads, check out this recording. This project highlights the synergy of Big Data Screening, YEA, and SR4S.
The AI&Me framework integrates three key technological initiatives:
