Automóvil Club de Chile partnered with theComisión Nacional de Seguridad de Tránsito (CONASET in Spanish),Fundación Espacio Lúdico and the Municipality of Puente Alto. The project is also supported by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Region IV – Latin America.

The critical location leading to the school entrance was upgraded from 1-star to 4-stars with the implementation of a raised pedestrian crossing and 30km/h speed limit to help reduce the operating speed of vehicles. Additionally, new traffic signs and school zone flashing beacons were installed and new road markings were painted to enhance the visibility of preschoolers in the school zone.
