With over 1000 members and volunteers nationwide, ZRST is an operational NGO that plans and carries out boots-on-the-ground projects to support government efforts to address casualty reduction needs of road users, especially the most vulnerable – pedestrians, children, women, cyclists and motorcyclists. Since launch in 2014, the Trust has provided road safety education on average to at least 15,000 children resulting in a reduction of child road safety deaths from 350 in 2014 to less than 200 children killed every year by 2018.
