FIA Region II has allocated EUR 50,000 to support its members on implementing safety facilities at school zones across the region guided by the SR4S. iRAP has supported the Region II Secretariat to develop the criteria for selection of projects, which focus on the steps presented in the new FIA School Assessment Toolkit.
FIA Region II is calling on proposals from clubs for road upgrade projects guided by SR4S, and FIA Clubs in Asia and Oceania are invited to submit proposals for upgrade projects up to EUR 15,000 each. The call for proposals has opened and will close on 15 September 2020. It is anticipated that upgrades should be implemented by the end of 2020 or early 2021, with some flexibility due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
