Fondation Botnar is launching the second phase of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fondationbotnar.org\/funding-opportunities\/\">Fit4Future Programme<\/a>, seeking bold, innovative projects that leverage digital technologies and AI to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Create inclusive cities<\/strong>\u00a0by engaging young people in shaping sustainable, liveable urban spaces. Projects should involve diverse youth voices in designing their environments and connecting with local and global decision-makers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advance inclusive education<\/strong>\u00a0by addressing barriers to learning, particularly for marginalised groups, youth with disabilities, and those out of school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This call is open to initiatives from <strong>Romania, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, Indonesia, Vietnam, Colombia, and Ecuador<\/strong>. Projects that demonstrate strong local ownership and community involvement will be prioritized.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Free Tools to Enhance Your Project Proposal: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>iRAP have free tools and methodologies like <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2022\/09\/show-me-the-way-big-data-reveals-highest-risk-schools-in-vietnam\/\">Big Data Screening<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/youth-engagement-app\/\">Youth Engagement App (YEA)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Star Rating for Schools (SR4S)<\/a> that can help with your proposal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Big Data Screening:<\/strong> Methodology to leverage the potential of commonly available databases of attributes used in pedestrians\u2019 macro-level analysis and utilizes them to rank schools from higher to lower road safety risks for pedestrians.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Youth Engagement App (YEA):<\/strong> Intuitive digital risk-perception tool that allows students to map locations where they feel \u201csafe\u201d or \u201cunsafe\u201d or \u201cvery unsafe\u201d on their journey to school.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SR4S:<\/strong> An evidence-based tool for measuring, managing and communicating the risks children are exposed to on a journey to school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information about how these tools integrate into projects like AI&amp;Me: Empowering Youth for Safe Roads, check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/YWd3MMiry5U\">recording<\/a>.
