{"id":332,"date":"2018-10-24T01:17:26","date_gmt":"2018-10-24T01:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.starratingforschools.org\/?p=332"},"modified":"2019-01-17T22:46:08","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T22:46:08","slug":"star-rating-for-schools-app-demonstrated-at-a-walkshop-at-walk21-bogota-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/pt\/2018\/10\/star-rating-for-schools-app-demonstrated-at-a-walkshop-at-walk21-bogota-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Aplicativo Star Rating for Schools demonstrado em uma &#039;Walkshop&#039; na Walk21 em Bogot\u00e1 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section bb_built=&#8221;1&#8243;][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.0.76&#8243; background_layout=&#8221;light&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>As part of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walk21.com\/bogota\">Walk21 Bogota 2018<\/a>&nbsp;programme, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Star Ratings for Schools<\/a>&nbsp;app was demonstrated at a \u2018Walkshop\u2019 on Friday 19 October.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>iRAP\u2019s Regional Director \u2013 The Americas, Julio Urzua was invited to facilitate a \u2018Walkshop\u2019 on the Star Rating for Schools app&nbsp;<em>\u2018Safer routes to schools, in the hands of the school communities\u2019<\/em>. The Star Rating for Schools app was used at the School IED Antonio Jos\u00e9 Uribe, located at Calle 3 #09-70, to calculate risk for pedestrian children and gave delegates hands on experience on what countermeasures can be implemented to create a safer environment for children around school communities.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Walkshop\u2019 was also supported by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AutomovilClubCo\">Automotive Club of Colombia<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WRIRossCities\">WRI Ross Centre for Sustainable Cities<\/a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SectorMovilidad\">Secretary of Mobility, Bogot\u00e1<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-341\" src=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Walkshop-Bogota-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"165\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-342\" src=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Walkshop-Bogota-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"165\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-343\" src=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Walkshop-Bogota-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"165\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Walk 21 Bogota:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Walk 21 Bogota event was the XIX International Conference on Walking&nbsp;and Liveable Communities. &nbsp;The main themes from the event were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sustainability\/Eco-efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Equity<\/li>\n<li>Competitiveness<\/li>\n<li>Citizen Engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This event focussed on the ultimate outcome that&nbsp;every community is seeking to attain greater happiness.
