We\u2019re thrilled to celebrate Tendai Belindah Lisenda for achieving the SR4S Quality Review Accreditation, making her the first accredited SR4S Quality Reviewer in Botswana!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Belindah began her journey with <\/span>SR4S<\/span><\/a> in early 2024, when she was trained by iRAP\u2019s Safer Journeys Lead for Africa, Nathalie Chiavassa. Since then, she has continued to build her expertise through additional iRAP online courses and led many SR4S training sessions across Botswana, including the <\/span>SR4S training for members of the Letlhakeng and Kweneng District Road Safety Committees<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Now, after successfully completing the SR4S accreditation assignment, Belindah has officially become an SR4S Quality Reviewer. Quality review is a mandatory process in which locations assessed with SR4S are submitted to peer review of an accredited quality reviewer or iRAP reviewer to check the accuracy and consistency of the coding. As an accredited reviewer, Belindah can now lead these reviews and support the expansion of SR4S assessments both in Botswana and globally. It has not only deepened my understanding of evidence-based approaches to road safety but also empowered me to play a more strategic role in advocating for safer school environments. With the SR4S tool, I am now better equipped to assess and address high-risk areas around schools with precision and purpose,\u201d<\/span><\/i> said Belindah.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201c<\/span>We are honored as a Club through our SR4S capacity-building programme to have contributed to the successful training and accreditation of Ms. Lisenda. Her exceptional skills in both assessment and quality review practice will greatly add value to our long-term efforts in ensuring that all schools in Botswana are assessed and upgraded to at least 3 stars or better by 2030.
