8 schools assessed, 3 upgraded, leading to a safety jump from 1-star to 4- and 5-stars and a safer journey for students<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2019, Road Safety Pioneers<\/a> led life-saving safety improvements on school zones in Iran. The initiative was supported by the Global Alliance of Road Safety NGOs<\/a> and the International Road Assessment Programme\u2019s<\/a> Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) app. The project followed Alliance Advocates Training in New Delhi in November 2018, allowing the NGO to put their new skills into practice.<\/p>\n
