Their Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program supports projects that can save lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what you need to know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Big Money for Safety:<\/strong>\u00a0This grant provides money to help communities develop plans and make changes to roads (like adding bike lanes or crosswalks) to make them safer for everyone \u2013 drivers, walkers, cyclists, and more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Free Tools to Help Your Project:<\/strong> iRAP have free tools like Star Rating for Schools and the Youth Engagement App that can help with your project.\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/how-to\/\"><strong>Star Rating for Schools (SR4S):<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0This award-winning program helps you measure how safe the route to school is for kids, so you can target areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/youth-engagement-app\/\"><strong>Youth Engagement App:<\/strong><\/a> An innovative tool that allows young people to easily identify and report road safety conditions around their schools.
